Accreditation to BQS IQAAF:2011
International Quality Assurance and Accreditation Framework (IQAAF:2011) This framework was signed by the chairman of the IAB to the BQS Governing Authority and the aim is to : 1.Promoting the importance of external recognition of qualifications, 2.Promoting cooperation and interaction between institutions of learning worldwide, 3.Recognizing the need for an easier system for the public to verify accreditation and recognition status of institutions of learning, 3.Expressing their commitment to preventing the activities of illegitimate and unlicensed institutions of learning worldwide, Criteria to the Framework 1. Any Govt Registration or certificate of incorporation 2. Any Recognition from the Ministry of Education or Agency recognized by Ministry of education 3. IF not recognized by Ministry of education But Autonomous status recognized by BQS will be accepted 4. Certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 29990:2010 Institutions are normally audited against the criteria of the listed above and those who fulfill the criteria will be fully accredited for three years or five years Fee structure Institution with ISO certifications Application 500 dollars Review of Accreditation 1000 dollars Yearly Fees 700 dollars Fee structure for institution without ISO certifications Institution without ISO 90001:2008 certification can apply for ISO certification and IQAAF at the same time and the ISO quality manual will be prepared for certification and formerly submitted for IQAAF accreditation. ISO certification fee 1500 dollars plus IQAAF 1500 dollars accreditation fees. Yearly maintenance Fee 700 dollars. |
